AARO's responsibilities under Singapore's personal-data law.
Asian Alliance Radiation & Oncology Pte Ltd ("AARO") is committed to complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore. This Notice describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal data, and the rights available to you under the PDPA.
This Notice should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which provides additional detail about our practices.

When AARO may use or share personal data.
We collect, use, and disclose personal data only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, including:
- Providing medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Maintaining patient medical records as required under Singapore healthcare regulations.
- Communicating about appointments, results, and treatment plans.
- Processing payments, insurance claims, and government subsidies (MediShield Life, Medisave, Integrated Shield Plans).
- Coordinating care with other healthcare providers.
- Conducting internal audits, training, and quality improvement.
- Complying with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.
- Responding to enquiries received through our website, phone, or other channels.
3. Consent
How consent is obtained, applied and understood.
By providing your personal data to us, or by using our services or website, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes described in this Notice and in our Privacy Policy.
In some circumstances, your consent may be deemed under the PDPA — for example, when you voluntarily provide your information for an obvious purpose (such as making an appointment). For other purposes, we will seek your express consent at the point of collection.

How to withdraw consent and what that may affect.
You may withdraw your consent to our continued collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Please note that withdrawal of consent for purposes essential to your care may affect our ability to provide medical services.
To withdraw consent, contact our Data Protection Officer (see Section 7). We will process your request within a reasonable period.

How to request your data or ask for a correction.
You have the right under the PDPA to:
- Request access to personal data we hold about you, and information about how it has been used or disclosed in the past year.
- Request correction of personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
We will respond to access and correction requests within 30 days, in accordance with the PDPA. A reasonable fee may apply for access requests.

How AARO keeps personal data accurate and secure.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that personal data we collect is accurate and complete. We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks.

8. Complaints to the PDPC
Where to escalate a data-protection concern.
If you are not satisfied with our response to a personal data matter, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore at www.pdpc.gov.sg.
